A Thankful Reflection: What God Has Done With One Yes

One year ago today, I sat across the table from my pastor’s wife and shared a dream God had quietly been growing in my heart, a call to discipleship, to walk alongside others as they pursued Jesus more deeply. I remember her kindness, her gentle listening, and her wisdom. She encouraged me to start small, to take the next faithful step, and to trust God with the outcome.
That conversation stayed with me.
Later that same afternoon, with faith that felt both brave and trembling, Ministry with Coffee was launched on social media—February 24, 2025. It wasn’t polished. It wasn’t big. It was simply a yes.
And God met that yes with His faithfulness.
Our first podcast episode aired on April 4, 2025, and from there, God began to move in ways we never could have orchestrated. Men and women, each with unique journeys, testimonies, and encounters with Jesus, stepped forward and shared their stories. Stories of redemption, waiting, restoration, obedience, grief, healing, and hope. Every conversation pointed back to Jesus, and hearts were encouraged in ways only He can accomplish.
Over the past year, God continued to unfold His plans with grace and purpose. Two books were written—Wait. Pause. Trust. and Awakening by His Spirit—each one born out of seasons of listening, surrender, and obedience.
Then came another step of faith: the launch of Unshakable Women of Faith, a discipleship program created to help women answer God’s call on their lives, in their homes, workplaces, churches, and communities. Watching these women grow in confidence, spiritual depth, and bold obedience has been one of the greatest privileges of this journey.
Through it all, one truth has become unmistakably clear: this has never been about a platform—it has always been about obedience.
God does not ask us to have it all figured out. He asks us to trust Him. He asks us to take the next step. He asks us to say yes, even when the outcome is unknown.
And that is where I want to gently challenge you.
If God has placed something on your heart, a dream, a nudge, a calling, a quiet prompting you’ve been holding back, don’t dismiss it. Don’t wait until you feel ready. Trust the One who placed it there.
Your yes might feel small.
It might feel inconvenient.
It might feel scary.
But obedience is never wasted when it is placed in God’s hands.
So today, I invite you to ask yourself:
What is God asking of me right now?
Where do I need to trust Him more?
What would obedience look like if I said yes today?
Because when you trust God with your yes, He will be faithful with the outcome.
All glory belongs to Him—always.
My love to you,
Tricia
