Now Is the Time: Women Rising in the Second Half of Life

This morning, God revealed something deeply inspiring to me—something I believe is meant to be shared with the women of my generation.

To the women in your 50's and 60's: you are not winding down—you are stepping into your prime.

The Lord says now is the time.

Now is the time to teach, mentor, pour into, encourage, and love on others.

Now is the time to step up and step out, to serve in even greater ways than before.

Now is the time to take your seat at the table—not as a guest, but as one who feeds and serves the generations behind you.

You carry something sacred.

You carry what God has walked you through.

You carry what He has spoken, taught, and revealed to you over decades of faith, perseverance, loss, growth, and victory.

You carry wisdom that cannot be Googled, learned in a classroom, or replaced by youthful energy.

Scripture affirms this moment clearly.

In Titus 2:3–5, we see God’s design for seasoned women:

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live… Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure…”

This is not a retirement plan—it’s a deployment.

Older women are called to teach, model, and pass on what faith looks like when it has been tested and proven.

In Psalm 92:12–14, we’re reminded:

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree… They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green.”

Fruitfulness does not expire with age. In fact, it often deepens.

You Are Equipped Because You’ve Endured

God never wastes a season.

Every valley you survived, every prayer you prayed through tears, every lesson learned the hard way—He intends to use it now.

Isaiah 46:4 declares:

“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He… I have made you and I will carry you.”

You are still being carried—and you are still being called.

And in Proverbs 16:31:

“Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.”

Your life is not something to minimize—it is something to offer.

Rise Up and Answer the Assignment

Ladies in the second half of life—this is your moment.

The world may try to sideline you, but heaven is calling you forward.

Now is the time to:

  • Speak truth with love

  • Mentor without hesitation

  • Serve with confidence

  • Lead with humility and courage

You are not too late.

You are not less relevant.

You are strategically placed.

As Esther 4:14 reminds us:

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

This is that time.

Rise up.

Take your seat.

Feed the generations behind you with what God has faithfully carried you through.

The assignment is clear—and you are ready.

Love,

Tricia
