Receiving the Promise: Walking in God’s Abundant Truth

In Leviticus 26, God lays out something breathtakingly simple—and profoundly powerful. He speaks to His people about what life looks like when we put Him first: when we refuse idols, honor His Sabbath, revere His sanctuary, and choose obedience. The promises that follow are not small. They are generous. Overflowing. Life-giving.

God says He will send rain in its season. Our land will yield fruit. We will never be without—so abundant that we’ll still be enjoying the old harvest as the new one arrives. He promises peace in our land, strength against our enemies, and a covenant so personal it shakes the soul:

“I will walk among you. I will be your God, and you will be My people.”

And here’s the truth we can’t miss: this is for us, too.

These are not dusty promises locked in ancient pages. They are living truth—meant to be received, believed, and walked out today. God is faithful to His word. When we align our hearts with Him, when we choose obedience over compromise, trust over fear, reverence over distraction—He moves.

He provides.

He protects.

He brings peace.

He causes fruitfulness where there once was lack.

But we must guard our hearts. Scripture warns us of the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The enemy would love nothing more than to convince us that God’s promises are “for someone else” or “for another time.” Don’t believe it. Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly. Life to the full. Life that overflows. (John 10:10)

So here’s the challenge:

Let’s receive God’s truth.

Let’s stand on His promises.

Let’s walk this journey with excitement, joy, and love—expecting Him to do what only He can do.

God loves you. Deeply. Personally.

And He has more for you than you can imagine.

Will you receive it?

Will you walk in it?

With love,

Tricia
