The Joy of Serving: Pouring Out What God has Poured In

The Joy of Being Poured Out
The Joy of Being Poured Out

Over these last several years, I’ve found my greatest joy not in titles, stages, or platforms—but in equipping others, serving faithfully, training with love, and sharing my journey in ministry.

There’s something sacred about pouring out what God has poured into me. It’s like a spiritual tithe—giving back to others the wisdom, grace, and lessons He has so freely given to me.

“Freely you have received; freely give.”

— Matthew 10:8

It humbles me that God would use my story, my scars, and even my struggles to help others begin walking in what He’s called them to do. I don’t take that lightly. I pray He continues to trust me with this kind of service—because serving His people is one of the greatest honors of my life.

Some are hesitant to share what they’ve learned, fearing they’ll lose something—but that’s not God’s way. When you give, you grow. When you pour out, He refills. When you build others, you’re building His Kingdom.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over…”

— Luke 6:38

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

— Hebrews 13:16

I’m learning more and more that real ministry isn’t about holding on—it’s about releasing. It’s about raising up others, cheering them on, and watching God do something fresh in them—just like He did in me.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace…”

— 1 Peter 4:10

This is the most fulfilling season I’ve ever known. Not because everything is perfect, but because I finally understand what it means to give yourself away for the sake of others.

“To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…”

— Ephesians 4:12

And if God is willing, I’ll keep giving, keep serving, and keep pouring—because everything I have is from Him anyway.
