The Bride Isn’t Ready: A Heart Cry from Ireland

The Bride Isn't Ready
The Bride Isn't Ready

While I was in Ireland, I had a dream that I can’t shake.

It stirred something deep in my spirit something holy… something urgent.

In the stillness of the night, I heard these words:

“My bride isn’t ready.”

They weren’t just words.

They felt like a whisper from heaven, full of sorrow and longing.

Immediately, my heart turned to the parable in Matthew 25, the story of the ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. All ten were waiting. All expected Him to come. But only five had oil in their lamps when He arrived. The others ran out.

And the door…

was shut.

“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.” — Matthew 25:10 (NIV)

That line rings in my spirit like a bell.

A Holy Wake-Up Call

This dream was not just a warning.

It was a call to action. A loving invitation from the Bridegroom to prepare not just ourselves, but each other.

Because half were unprepared.

That’s not just a parable. It’s a picture of our reality.

We can’t be content knowing some are ready while others aren’t.

We can’t settle for 50% when Jesus died for 100%.

He longs for every heart. Every soul. Every lamp burning bright.

You’re Helping Make Her Ready

If you’re reading this, you’re already part of the answer.

Your prayers, your encouragement, your stories, your generosity they’re oil.

They’re filling empty lamps. They’re awakening sleeping hearts.

You are helping prepare the Bride for her Bridegroom.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” — Revelation 19:7 (NIV)

This isn’t about fear.

It’s about love.

A Bridegroom who loves so deeply that He delays… just a little longer…

So more hearts can be ready.

There’s Still Time

The door is still open.

Grace is still flowing.

Oil is still being poured out.

But soon, the Bridegroom will come.

And when He does… may we all be ready.

May no one be left outside.

May every lamp be burning.

So let’s keep going. Let’s keep praying. Keep pouring. Keep preparing.

Because the time is short.

But the invitation is still open.

From the depths of my heart…

Thank you for saying yes.

Thank you for caring.

Thank you for helping prepare the Bride.

With all my love,

Tricia
